Inside the Head of a Teenager (as emailed to reme)
So I get an e-mail from I. (teen who I've known since I first started,she was 12 when I met her and she's 15 now) and her e-mail signature contained the following quote:
~pimipin is a fast progress so dont let now take all tha hoes~
so when I wrote her back I asked her what that means , and below is her response:
it means that well what it says but to put it in perspective life moves quickly so be sure to get what u need before its gone get it?
And I'm sitting here thinking about how deep the meaning is that she gets out of it is, and how I would NEVER, not in a million years, think that was what was meant (or what she takes it it to mean) when she included that quote in her e-mail signature. So my whole point in sharing this is because it was a reminder to me not to take things at face value, especially when dealing with teenagers
